Often times people wonder why we use the Kelvin scale, versus the Fahrenheit scale. It is actually not the only temperature scale used to measure absolute temperature. We are also able to use relative scales.

Generally speaking, the best scale for measuring temperatures is one that is accepted by the community you live in. If you live in the United States, you are probably most comfortable with the Fahrenheit scale. But in other parts of the world, you may want to use the Celsius scale. If you need to convert a temperature from the Celsius scale to the Fahrenheit scale, there are simple ways to do so.

If you want to convert a temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you first need to understand how the two scales relate to one another. The Celsius and Fahrenheit scales are both relative scales, meaning they measure the temperature at a certain point in relation to a particular unit.
